The Department of English at the Faculty of Arts, Maribor, will be holding a series of events to honour the Canadian author Alice Munro in her 90th year.
The organizers--Michelle Gadpaille, Jason Blake, Tjaša Mohar and Tomaž Onič—have planned two events for May 2021.
May 20: Alice Munro’s Fiction: Calling All Readers, Writers and Lovers - Online lecture (in English) featuring Michelle Gadpaille, Tjaša Mohar and Tomaž Onič, MS Teams, 18:00 CET.
May 27: Alice Munro’s Fiction Among Slovene Readers. - Online lecture (in Slovene) featuring Tjaša Mohar and Tomaž Onič, MS Teams, 18:00 CET

The students in Prof. Andreea Șerban's Canadian Literature elective class at the West University of Timișoara have brainstormed and come up with several ideas for an event that is going to take place online via Google Meet on May 25, 2021, starting at 19.00 (EET/Romania time) / 18:00 (CET/Central European Time).
